2006 USFS Special Ops Missions
All pilots who fly these missions must have the Mountain Flying Certification and have achieved
the rank of Captain.
Once again this year, California Airlines has won not only the mail contract but also
the search and rescue contract for the Payette National Forest in Idaho.
Over the next three months, new special operation missions will be available so check back
often.
This contract will run through the month of September or until the weather prevents further
missions.
